Click to go to our official submission page form.
Please review the following requirements before submitting your abstract.
Abstracts must describe high-quality original research that advances the fields of imaging and/or perimetry. The research must not have been formally submitted for publication (to an academic journal or preprint server) prior to the abstract submission deadline.
Abstracts should be self-contained; therefore, you must not include web links.
Images should be used only to convey important visual information that cannot be easily expressed in words. Images of sentences or paragraphs of text are not permitted, and your abstract may be rejected if you include these. A few words are permitted where the image would lack clarity without the contextual words, such as a diagram where text labels are required for an axis or graph column.
Abstracts submitted after the submission deadline will not be considered.
Presenting Author: Should be the first author listed.
Only include individuals who have made a meaningful contribution to the study (concept, design, data acquisition, analysis, interpretation, or drafting/review of the abstract).
The submitting author must confirm that the final abstract has been approved by all listed authors.
If your research received funding, please acknowledge the name of the funder (e.g., 'This research was generously funded by the Northwest Research Council').
Indicate any disclosures relevant to your abstract for each author using the ARVO Commercial Relationships Policy Codes. Example: JM: Bigtech Ltd (F), BrightStim GmbH (C); KNR: (N)
IPS Travel Grants: If you are selected for an IPS travel grant, this will be acknowledged on your behalf in the conference program. Please also acknowledge the grant in your presentation and any subsequent publication.
Human Subjects: If your research involved human subjects, you must certify that it was conducted in compliance with the Declaration of Helsinki (including informed consent and IRB/institutional approval).
Animal Research: If your research involved animals, you must certify that it was conducted in compliance with the ARVO "Statement for the Use of Animals in Ophthalmic and Vision Research."
Permission to Publish: Submitting your abstract grants us permission to publish it in the electronic/hard copies of the conference abstract booklet.
